History

Barry Brodsky founded Brodson Construction, Inc. in 1989 in Miami Florida, naming the company after his grandfather’s New York based general construction firm decades earlier. Currently enjoying its 20th year in the construction industry, Brodson has earned an incredible reputation both locally and nationally for the ability to execute extraordinary precision and detail on projects while making their client’s vision top priority.
"I believe that to be great, you must surround yourself with great people" is a motto that Mr. Brodsky, who acts as President and Chief Executive Officer of the boutique organization, lives by. Expanding the firm’s executive staff six years ago Brodsky teamed up with another South Florida construction expert, Mr. Cole Haynes. Today Haynes acts as Vice President and Director of Operations, overseeing the company’s talented team of professionals.
Brodson’s reputation in luxury residential construction is second to none in South Florida. Miami’s most sought-after residential neighborhoods are decorated with Brodson Construction homes. The company focuses on building spectacular, unique projects specific to their client’s specifications, achieving accolades from well known local residents like Cher and Robert Zarco.
On the commercial side Brodson Construction is the quintessential contractor of luxury retail chains, building stores for Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Cartier, Harry Winston, Prada, Miu Miu, Emilio Pucci, Roberto Cavalli, Eli Tahari and Tory Burch to name just a few. In fact, Brodson has worked in multiple South Florida malls including Miami's most exclusive shopping destinations at Aventura Mall, Bal Harbour Shops, Boca Town Center, The Falls and Village of Merrick Park. In addition to their past portfolio of work throughout Florida, Brodson is licensed in multiple states and has completed retail projects in New York, Illinois, Georgia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Texas, and California.
Recently Brodson was responsible for the construction of three lavish, new lobby stores at the famed Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach and in 2007 they were hired by KOR Hotel CEO Brad Korsen to complete the entire renovation project of the Tides Hotel located on Ocean Drive in South Beach. Both of these incredible projects garnered press attention that circulated through the pages of stylish fashion magazines such as Vogue, Women's Wear Daily and the New York Times magazine.
Today, Brodson Construction is one of the nation’s premier builders, recognized in the retail, commercial and residential industries.
